Would love to report that these were great, but they’re only OK…
The Doctors’ Sauvignon Blanc 2015, Marlborough, New Zealand (£9-£10 Waitrose, Booths)
Reasonable mix of citrus and passionfruit with a touch of rhubarb, slightly on the soft side, due perhaps to age (2016 is current vintage in NZ), or a touch of sweetness. OK flavours, just not quite enough of them. C
The Doctors’ Rosé 2016, Marlborough, New Zealand (£10-£11 Booths)
A hint of cherry, a touch of strawberry, but as with the Sauvignon, not huge depth of flavour, and ultimately a little fey. C(-)
