Las Chorlas Tempranillo 2013, Arlanza, Spain

I nearly like this a lot…

Las Chorlas Tempranillo 2013, Arlanza, Spain (£9.99 Laithwaites)
Bits of this I like, and bits I don’t. The latter is probably a consequence of the less than ideal vintage, so there’s a slightly earthy green edge and it’s not as concentrated as it could be. But there’s also lots squishy strawberry, blackberry and plum flavour, plus hints of roasted meat and spic, and I’d happily polish a glass or two of this off with some roast lamb. B(-)
