Starts off dumb, then seems simple, and it’s only when it’s been open an hour or so that the ruddy berry and blackcurrant flavours and toasty oak are joined by more complex, spicy, and herby notes, along with a note of what I think of the classic Spanish warm roof-tile character. Balanced and classy, but some way from its peak. S+
