Martin Codax Albariño 2013, Rías Baixas, Spain (£12.99 Slurp)
Tasted this a couple of times in early summer. On the video, you’ll see I liked it for its quite ripe plush peach and pear flesh tempered by juicy citrus and green apple acidity, with some herby spice action going on in there too. Very similar notes (and marks) on the other occasion, with the citrus bit being expanded to ‘pithy grapefruit’. S-
