Has the heady juicy violet-scented fresh berry and blackcurrant character of a port Quinta at vintage time, along with earthy, chocolatey notes – I like those bits, but I find the finish just a bit ‘forced’, as if someone knew how to make wine, but didn’t know when to stop… B+
