Yes, White Carignan. Gentle, relaxed style, with lightly floral, herby overtones to the pear and quince flavours and a sappy salty bite on the finish, like Sauvignon without the shriek. S-

Domaine d’Aigues Belles l’Autre Blanc Pays d’Oc 2014, France (£16 Your Sommelier)
A blend of Roussanne, Sauvignon and Chardonnay, with each grape contributing character. So there’s some of the pear and walnut of Roussanne, a little herby citrus bite from Sauvignon and the peachy presence of oak-aged Chardonnay. Fleshy but fresh, nice texture too – good wine. S(-)
